Wow
my life is now complete
Being happy doesn’t always make us grateful, but being grateful will always make us happy. Be grateful today, friends.

Advent with Stu g Day 7
Today I want to share with you a song I've written in the last month called King Of The Stars.
For most of us Christmas is a time that we really look forward to. A time to be with family and enjoy each other. For some it's a time when they are reminded of sadness and loss.
I was on the phone with a really dear friend a few weeks ago, and he said "I've got something to tell you. My wife's left me!" I was stunned...didn't see that coming! I was at a loss for words of comfort and it troubled me for days. I put my thoughts in this song.
The longer I'm alive, I'm aware that we all have a story and we all have baggage that we need help to carry or let go of. This has made me less judgemental and more compassionate.
I heard someone say that wherever there is change of any kind in your life it comes with an element of grief. Different levels for different circumstances, but grief is always there one way or another.
If you are grieving or have a sense of loss this advent, this song is dedicated to you.
I've also heard that if the only prayer you can pray is "thank you!" or "help!" it's enough. This song is a prayer for help.
I need it, you need it, my friend needs it.
I love watching my son Ethan whenever he's worshiping in church. I remember carrying him in my arms as a baby as we worship together in church, and I'm glad to see him passionately worshiping Jesus at the age of 6. I'm a proud daddy :)
